Agenda 2030
A roadmap for the future that will enable people around the world to live in dignity while preserving the natural foundations of life in the long term.
Behaviour
The way in which an individual or a group reacts, acts or conducts in response to internal or external stimuli.
CO2 Footprint
Refers to the total amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions generated directly or indirectly by an individual, organization, product, or activity.
Economic
Refers to the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services within a society or a system, and how resources are managed, traded, and utilized to satisfy human needs and want.
Environment
Refers to the surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or operates, and encompasses all physical, chemical, biological, and social factors that affect organisms or systems, including air, water, soil, climate, ecosystems, and human-made structures.
Flexitarian
A diet which primarily follows a vegetarian diet but occasionally includes meat or other animal products in small quantities.
Gamification
Application of game-design elements and principles to non-game contexts to increase motivation and engagement.
Nudge
Subtly influencing people's behavior or decision-making without restricting their choices or forcing them to act in a certain way.
Procurement
Procurement is the process of sourcing, acquiring, and purchasing goods, services, or works from external sources, and can cover a wide range of items, from raw materials to office supplies to complex services.
Social
Refers to anything related to society, communities, or groups of people and often involve norms, values, and structures that shape how people connect and interact with one another.
Social Norms
Shared expectations or rules within a group or society about acceptable behavior, values, beliefs, and practices.
Supply Chain
Encompasses all the steps required to bring a product from raw materials to the customer, including manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and retail.
Sustainable
Refers to practices, processes, or systems that meet present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Sustainable Development Goals
17 global sustainability goals for socially, economically and ecologically sustainable development, which were set by the United Natuins in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda.
Vegan
Refers to a lifestyle and dietary choice that excludes all animal-derived products like meat, dairy or eggs.
Vegetarian
A diet that excludes meat, poultry, and seafood but may include other animal products like dairy and eggs, depending on the type of vegetarianism.
